Elizabeth Ruddick is Director of Strategic Research and Review at Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), where she is responsible for the department's research, audit and evaluation functions. Before joining CIC in 1992, Ms. Ruddick held senior positions at the Economic Council of Canada, and at the National Energy Board, where she was Manager of Forecasting and Energy Market Analysis. In addition to her experience in the federal government since 1985, she has worked in the private sector as a consultant and macro economist, specializing in long term forecasts and project analysis. Elizabeth has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a B.Comm. from McGill University.
