The International Metropolis Project is a forum for bridging research, policy and practice on migration and diversity.
The Project aims to enhance academic research capacity, encourage policy-relevant research on migration and diversity issues,
and facilitate the use of that research by governments and non-governmental organizations.

Bob Crow is Vice President Policy at the Information Technology Association of Canada and a management consultant specializing in institutional positioning, marketing, and development. At ITAC, Bob is responsible for the policy and advocacy program of one of Canada's leading business associations, representing a network of more than 1,300 member and affiliated firms with combined revenue of nearly $70 billion.

Bob brings more than twenty years of professional and volunteer experience in higher education and the social services to his consulting practice. He has served clients in the private, public and non-governmental sectors on projects ranging from strategic marketing to fund development to the application of information technology.

Bob's career includes significant service at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto where he was a professor and senior administrator from 1975 to 1998. Under his leadership, Ryerson's reputation for excellence in applied education became nationally recognized. He played significant leadership roles in establishing the Ryerson Computing Centre, the Centre for Advanced Technology Education and the Office of University Advancement.

Bob holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Cornell University and master's degrees in regional planning and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Toronto, respectively. He also studied telecommunications technology and policy at Carnegie Mellon University at the advanced graduate level.

An active community volunteer, Bob has served on the boards of the Woodgreen Community Centre, the United Way of Greater Toronto, and United Way / Centraide Canada. He is currently a director of the Bach Children's Chorus and the Software Human Resource Council.
