Biographies
Deborah
Platts
is an anthropologist, currently working as a research officer for the Home
Office. She works within the Immigration Research and Statistics Service,
focusing mainly on issues relating to the reception of asylum seekers, in particular
the UK dispersal system, but also on the integration of refugees and
non-refugee migrants.
Following a number of years conducting
and implementing the findings of research with voluntary groups and local
government.
