By Air
Toronto's main airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code: YYZ) is approximately a 20-25 minute drive east from downtown Toronto. (See important information for non-Canadian travellers under "Customs and Immigration".)

By ensuring that the convention number appears on your ticket, you will be supporting Metropolis 2005.
There are a variety of options for getting downtown from the airport:
- The Airport Express shuttle service ($15.50 CAD one way) picks up outside the Arrivals Level of all terminals roughly every
20-30 minutes. Destinations include the downtown bus terminal and several major downtown hotels, with connecting service to
other downtown locations available for an additional fee. Travel time: 30-40 minutes.
The 192 Airport Rocket route provides all-day accessible express bus service between Kipling Station on the Bloor-Danforth Subway and Pearson Airport.
Buses stop only at Kipling Station, Dundas Street & East Mall Crescent, Terminal 3 (Departures Level), Terminal 2 (Arrivals Level) and Terminal 1 (Ground Level).
Service operates from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., seven days a week. One-way travel time is approximately 20 minutes.

GO Transit, part of the public transportation system, offers city
buses ($3.65 CAD + $2.50 subway fare) to north Toronto subway stations (Yorkdale and York Mills stations). GO buses serve
Terminal 1's level 5 and Terminal 2's arrivals level, with most frequent departures during weekday rush hours. Travel time:
35-45 minutes (bus) + 30-40 minutes (subway).
Taxis and limousines offer flat rate transfers to downtown. Taxi: $43 CAD + tip, Limousine: $47 CAD + tip. Travel time: 25-40 minutes.
By Train
Toronto's central train station, Union Station, is located right in downtown Toronto, with easy access to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and official Conference hotels.
For information on schedules and fares for travellers from the United States, visit Amtrak. If travelling from other Canadian cities, consult schedules at VIA Rail or Ontario Northland (northern Ontario).

VIA Rail offers regular train service to Toronto from Windsor, London, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City and from points between. Long haul sleeper service (two to three days in length) is also available from Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Northern Ontario and Halifax. Union Station is located one block from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
By quoting promo number 10410 , travellers will receive a 35% discount off full adult coach fares, a 5% discount off full adult VIA 1 first class fares, and a 5% discount off sleeper fares.

when presented with the "Passenger Information" window

By Bus
