The Wonder of Niagara
Date: Sunday, October 16 Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Depart by comfortable coach and enjoy an unforgettable day experiencing the wonder of Niagara Falls - a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto. Upon arrival, enjoy a ride on the famous Maid of The Mist and feel the thunder of the Falls. It's a half hour thrill of a lifetime!
After some free time for browsing and photos, guests will enjoy a buffet lunch overlooking the Falls, followed by a scenic drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake, a beautiful area made famous by the War of 1812 between Canada and the United States. Your coach will then proceed back to Toronto.

Shades of Autumn

The countryside 2 hours north of Toronto, affectionately known as "cottage country", is at its best in the fall season, when the forests become a virtual living canvas. This area, known as Muskoka, offers over 1600 lakes, numerous sparkling rivers and the dazzling pink granite of the Canadian Shield.
If the timing is right and the weather cooperates, the trees will be absolutely ablaze in spectacular colours of stunning reds, oranges and yellows - offering breathtaking vistas and superb photo opportunities.
Upon arrival in the Muskoka area you will board the Wenonah 11 cruise boat, built in the style and grace of an elegant, historic vessel. This vessel combines turn-of-the-century charm with modern conveniences including a fully enclosed dining room and an on-board elevator.
A A full lunch will be served in the dining room while enjoying an ultimate lakeview experience on this 2.5 hour cruise. This is a truly great opportunity to enjoy the beautifully rugged and natural Canadian countryside.

Discover Toronto Tour
Date:Monday, October 17
Time: 8:30 am - 11:30 am
What a better way to experience Toronto then by land, water and up above!
This mini morning tour will offer a brief introductory city tour by coach, highlighting a sample of some of the remarkable buildings, attractions and neighborhoods within the city such as Old and New City Hall, the Theatre District and distinct shopping areas.
Following this, you will be taken to the harbour to enjoy a fully narrated, one hour sightseeing cruise through Toronto's scenic harbourfront and island parkways with a superb vista of Toronto's breathtaking skyline, and some great photo opportunities.

Historic Toronto Tour
Date:Friday, October 21
Time:1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
This tour will highlight some historic aspects of our great city - including the Distillery Historic District, the Hockey Hall of Fame, and the Steam Whistle Brewery.
The Distillery District is a Canadian heritage site - a popular destination for film locations, and is the largest and best preserved collection of Victorian Industrial architecture in North America. After your visit there, continue on to the Steam Whistle Brewery, located in a historic former roundhouse. A tour and requisite tasting of their craft brew will be a highlight of the visit.
Finally, continue to Toronto's famous castle - Casa Loma. This mediæval castle sits on a hill with a breathtaking view of the city and its truly magnificent gardens. An audio tour will aid in your exploration of this majestic castle complete with secret passages, towers, an 800-ft. tunnel and stables.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations of tour reservations must be sent to the Conference Secretariat - JPdL, in writing (letter/fax/email), no later than August 31, 2005.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after August 31, 2005.
All reimbursements will be issued after the Conference.
