Registration fee
All participants have to register. The conference management kindly requests you to do so as soon as possible. A reduced early-bird rate applies for registrations made before 31 May 2003. Reduced rates are also available for employees/representatives of NGOs and for students. To obtain these rates, students must submit proof of a valid student identification card, and NGO-employees/representatives must submit an official confirmation of their status of affiliation together with their conference registration. Please send this proof to ICOS as an attachment or fax at the time of your registration. Please also note that enterprises, interest organisations, non-university research institutes, universities and the like cannot be considered NGOs.

Please note that all participants, including workshop presenters/organisers, need to secure their own funding to participate in this conference.

The registration fee includes participation in all plenary sessions, workshops, study tours and social events. Also included are the conference package, coffee-breaks, lunches and meals offered at the social events. For arrangements regarding accompanying persons, please contact ICOS.

Cancellation Procedures
Cancellations stating the participant's name and registration number and received in writing by ICOS Congress Organisation Service before 31 July 2003 will be refunded less 25% of the registration fee. No refunds will be granted after 31 July 2003. Reimbursement will be made between 30 to 60 days after receipt of the cancellation. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
